Replyze (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides an AI-powered customer support automation tool designed to help Shopify merchants manage, triage, and respond to customer emails. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you use Replyze, and the rights you have in relation to that information.
1. Information We Collect We collect the following categories of information:
a) From Shopify Order details (order ID, order number, products, financial and fulfillment status). Customer information necessary for order lookup (name, email, shipping address). Store details (store name, domain, access tokens).
b) From Gmail / Google APIs Email message metadata (sender, recipient, subject, timestamp). Email message body (for order lookup, intent detection, and reply drafting). Attachments only if necessary for customer support (not used for any unrelated purpose). Google Compliance: Our use of information received from Gmail APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
c) From You (the Merchant) Account registration details (name, email, password, company/store information). Settings and preferences (reply strategies, automation configurations).
d) From Your Customers (Indirectly via Shopify and Gmail) Customer order history. Customer communication (emails).
2. How We Use Information We use collected information only for the purposes of: Fetching and validating order information from Shopify. Parsing customer support emails to detect order numbers, intent, and context. Generating and sending replies to customers (via Gmail API, with merchant review options if configured). Providing merchants with a support dashboard and activity logs. Improving Replyze’s AI models (only on anonymised and aggregated data). We do not use your data for advertising or marketing to third parties.
3. Data Sharing We do not sell or rent personal data. Data may be shared only in these circumstances: With Service Providers: We utilise secure cloud hosting, database, and analytics providers under strict data processing agreements. With Google / Shopify APIs: To the extent required for API functionality and in accordance with their policies. For Legal Compliance: If required by law or valid legal process.
4. Data Storage & Security All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). OAuth tokens for Gmail/Shopify are encrypted and stored securely. Access is restricted to authorized personnel with least-privilege principles. We log system access and monitor for unusual activity.
5. Data Retention & Deletion We retain merchant account data as long as the account remains active. Emails and order data retrieved for support automation are stored only as long as necessary to provide the service. Merchants may request deletion of all stored data at any time by contacting support. When a Shopify store uninstalls Replyze, we automatically delete all associated data within 30 days.
6. Your Rights Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California), you may have the right to: Access the personal data we hold about you. Request correction or deletion of your data. Restrict or object to certain processing. Data portability. Requests can be made at support@tryreplyze.com
7. Children’s Privacy Replyze is not directed to or intended for children under 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).
8. International Data Transfers As Replyze operates globally, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence. We implement safeguards to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
9. Updates to this Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with the “Effective Date” revised accordingly.
